Martin is a graduate in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc) from Brunel University in 2006 and obtained a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Essex in 2008.

He offers advanced level assessment, treatment and management advice for a wide range of conditions, including chronic back pain, sports injuries, osteoarthritis, whiplash, headaches and many more.

Martin has strong links with local consultants and specialists in Epping/Harlow as well as in outer London, allowing fast access to advanced imaging (MRI, ultrasound). He has spent the last 7 years working as a senior Physiotherapist at St. Margaret's Hospital, Epping. Martin is now a first contact practitioner working within West Essex GP surgeries. Over the last 10 years, Martin has attended numerous advanced training courses, so that he can now offer a wide range of treatment options including soft tissue massage, sports massage, spinal adjustments, acupuncture, electrotherapy and patient specific rehab programmes.

Heys Physiotherapy will be updating the EUCRFC Physio page with a monthly information bulletin discussing common injuries found both on and off the pitch, including early stage management/advice/medication, rehabilitation/exercise advice, as well as useful preventative measures.
